Sweet Home Alabama in Atlanta, GA – A night of food and festivities
With the completion of our first sample batch of Sweet Home Whiskey and Sweet Home Vodka, we were excited to get in front of a few folks who were interested in becoming a partner in the Sweet Home Spirits family.
This would become our first presentation to potential investors, and thus we were wanting to go big for them.
Carl prepared the display above, and we went immediately to the task of having our guests taste our sample batches. Carl then demonstrated our ‘Smokey Water’ Whiskey concept, charring the woodchips of a pecan tree and a cinnamon stick to emit a smoke that is captured within the whiskey glass. This presentation and the aroma and taste that came with it really raised some hairs for everyone involved, and it was there that we believe one of the guests decided to become a fellow founder.
We received positive reviews and some great feedback on our product, and from there, Shirley, Carl’s wife of Brazilian decent, brought three beautiful plates for us to dine on as we continued talking and enjoying the night. One plate had an array of fruits and cheese while the other two had some excellent Brazilian delicacies, nuts, and charcuterie meats.
In the end, it was a warm, homely occasion that we believe captured exactly what we are aspiring to be as as brand, and we look forward to finding a bit more gas for our tanks to continue the Sweet Home Spirits Storyline.

I can’t wait till I can buy some Sweet Home Spirits to be the centerpiece of my home bar and share with friends and family, especially since it’s an Alabama company.
